Your onboarding, in the order you want it
Put together the steps each role needs: their contact and personal details, next of kin, custom questions, a document or contract to read and sign, a form, a course, an SOP, a task and a site induction. Different starters can get different onboardings.

The starter gets an email link that works without logging in, and can carry on in the staff app. Every step is built for a phone, so it gets done on the bus rather than in the first two hours of the first shift.

Starters who have stalled get a reminder each morning. After a few quiet days you are asked whether they are still coming, and a chase button sends a nudge whenever you want one.

Mark the steps that matter as required before starting, and until they are done the person cannot get going. Progress is worked out from the real thing (the signed document, the passed course, the submitted form), not a box somebody ticked.

Questions about onboarding
How do new starters get their onboarding?
You send it from their profile and they receive an email link. It opens without a password, and they can finish it there or in the staff app.
What can an onboarding include?
Personal and contact details, custom questions, documents to read and sign, generated letters, forms, training courses, SOPs, tasks and inductions. On Pro, it can also collect ID and right to work evidence.
Can different roles get different onboardings?
Yes. Build as many as you need, for a role, a site or a type of worker, and choose which one to send.
Can sites have their own induction?
Yes, on Pro. A site can require its own onboarding before anyone clocks in there, which is how agency and subcontract workers are brought on at the gate.
Are starters reminded?
Yes, by email every morning while steps are outstanding, and you are asked after a few quiet days whether they are still starting.
Is onboarding on the free plan?
Yes. Onboarding is on every plan. Some steps depend on features from higher plans, such as training courses and ID collection on Pro. The pricing page shows which.
