How is this better than a WhatsApp group?
Read receipts on announcements, business ownership of the history, automatic membership as staff join and leave, and no personal phone numbers shared. WhatsApp offers none of those for work.
Can I see who has read an announcement?
Yes, per person, with one-tap reminders to those who have not. That is the core difference between an announcement and a hope.
What about staff without smartphones?
Staff can use any browser, including a shared computer or a phone's built-in browser, since the app is web-based. Email covers the messages that matter for anyone without a smartphone.
Are surveys anonymous?
You choose per survey. Anonymous surveys show only aggregate results; named surveys attribute answers.
Can I send only to the right people?
Yes. Announcements and surveys can go to everyone or to a saved audience built from teams, locations and roles, so a kitchen notice reaches the kitchen and a manager pulse reaches managers. Permissions separately control who is allowed to post.
Do notifications respect quiet hours?
Yes. Every person sets their own per-channel notification preferences (email and push) and quiet hours from their account, so messages arrive the way each person wants them.
