NFC clock-in
Tap-to-clock-in with NFC tags
Stick an NFC tag by the door and staff tap their phone on it to clock in or out in about two seconds. You write the tags yourself from the app, and the same tag technology runs the security patrol checkpoints.
No credit card required. Free plan for up to 10 people.

01
Write your own tags in seconds
Take a blank NFC tag and write it from the app: pick the location, tap the tag, done. No vendor hardware order, no per-tag charge, and a replacement tag is written as fast as the first one.
02
Signed tags, not just stickers
Each tag is written with a signed link unique to your workspace and its location, so a copied or re-written tag pointing somewhere else does not verify. The tap is convenient for staff without being trivially fakeable.
03
The fastest honest punch there is
No app to open, no PIN to type: tap the tag, confirm, working. Because the tag is physically at the door, the punch is tied to the place without continuous location tracking, which keeps what you record proportionate to why you record it.
04
One tag estate, two jobs
The same tags and the same writing flow power the security patrol checkpoints, so a site running both attendance and guard rounds manages one kind of tag, not two systems.

Questions about nfc clock-in
What NFC tags do I need?
Standard rewritable NFC sticker tags. You write them from the app; there is nothing proprietary to order.
Which phones can tap to clock in?
Any modern iPhone or Android phone with NFC, which is nearly all of them. Staff without NFC phones use the app button, a kiosk or the Mac desktop app instead.
Can someone clone a tag and clock in from home?
Tags carry a signed link tied to your workspace and the tag's location, so a re-written or relocated copy does not verify. Combined with timesheet review flags, the easy cheats are closed.
Is NFC clock-in a paid extra?
No. NFC tag clock-in ships with the time clock on every plan, including Free. The pricing page shows the full feature-by-plan table.
Can the same tags be used for patrols?
Yes. Security patrol checkpoints use the same tag technology and the same writing flow, so one box of tags covers clock-in points and patrol checkpoints.
